Appointment of Director of Resources

We are delighted that you are considering Rochdale Boroughwide Housing as your next career opportunity. This key appointment once made will complete the organisation’s new Executive Management Team.

As a high calibre finance professional you will lead on all financial and business planning issues as well as co-ordinating our central policy development and performance management functions. With excellent leadership and communication skills you will also be tasked with ensuring that all our central support services are effectively supporting our service improvement agenda.

RBH faces a number of complex challenges, ranging from the national review of Council housing finance to the turbulent economic conditions impacting on us. These challenges will test our ability to think creatively, to adapt and to keep the organisation in a strong and viable position. This post will play a lead role in determining our response to them.

We will also need to take advantage of the many opportunities that are ahead of us such as the opportunity to use our organisational size, strength and market position to develop new homes and new income streams. This post will play a lead role in work to maximise delivery on both of these.
