A provisional timetable for the selection process is included below; please could you advise if you have any difficulty with the outlined dates and/or any other dates when you are unavailable for assessment. Due to panel availability it will be difficult to offer alternative dates to those advertised.

Assessment and Selection Process

All applications will be considered and assessed by the selection panel against the details included in the Person Specification in order to select an initial long list of candidates. If you have been successful at this stage EMA will contact you via telephone/email.

Initial screening assessments will be held in the Rochdale area on Friday 1 May. If you have not been successful at this stage, you will be notified in writing and offered feedback on the reasons. If you are successful, you will be notified by telephone and/or email immediately after the event.

The final selection will be on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 May.  The process is likely to involve occupational skills testing and a stock-tour of RBH's estates on Wednesday 6 May, followed by a presentation and interview on Thursday 7 May. These events will also take place in the Rochdale area. Candidates shortlisted for the final stages will also be asked to complete an on-line personality profiling questionnaire promptly after the screening stage.

We apologise in advance for the tight turnaround between the first and final stages of the selection process and particularly because there is a bank holiday weekend in between.

We strongly recommend that you provisionally reserve these three dates in your diary in the event that you are successful. Due to the number of panel members involved in the selection process, it will be difficult for RBH to offer alternative dates.
